Description

This black and white photograph features a group of people standing at Big Creek during a festival. Music Festival Week was billed as the greatest event in the F.H.N calendar. Entertainers from as far away as New York City came to Hays to perform in Sheridan Coliseum throughout the week. This picture features people who performed at the 1921 Festival. From left to right are Edna Swanson VerHaar (Contralto), Ernest Davis (Tenor), Louis Kreidler (Baritone), Lillian Eubanks (Soprano), Eddy Brown (Violinist), and President W. A. Lewis.
