The World War I Memorial, located between the Coliseum and Picken Hall, was a gift of the class of 1919. The memorial was unveiled October 1920. According to the book "A History of Fort Hays Kansas State College", the memorial was also a drinking fountain. Date of photo looks to be in the late 1940's.
