Description
A black and white photograph. A marching band stands on Lewis Field Stadium’s football field on the 50 yard line, estimated to be in the 1980s. Two drum majors, wearing lighter uniforms, stand one yard off of both sides of the 50 yard line. The band forms three lines. The front line curves convexly. The second row, featuring the drumline, curves convexly and concavely. The third row with the flag corps curves concavely. Two instrumentalists stand between the second and third rows. The drumline, consisting of two snare drums, two marching tenor drums, and three bass drums, is the center of the band. The color guard, consisting of nine members, holds flags angled at approximately 45° to their right. The stands behind the band are mostly empty. The press box holds three seating blocks labeled C, D, and E. Three tunnels are spaced evenly on the bottom row of seats and read “FHSU.”
