292 Santa Fe Trail Marker, Deerfield, Kans. Deerfield Kan. April 7, 1910. Dear brother:-I received your letter today. I just cam [sic] to Deerfield and will go out to the farm now. I winde(sic) down in Garden City longer and I tough I wod(sic) I had to stay down tll they cam and got [illegible]. It is warm and nice here today.
