Abstract

The American Democracy Project introduced presenters Kendall Carswell and Larisa White to discuss strategies implemented to improve civic engagement amongst numerous refugee and immigrant populations in southwest Kansas. Successes and challenges to improve civic health and overall community health were discussed during this Times Talk on Wednesday, November 6^th in Forsyth Library. Free pizza and salad provided to the first 20 attendees.
