Description

This black and white photograph features George F. Sternberg processing an excavated fossil. He is kneeling in front of the fossil, and he has a tool in his hand as he works on the fossil. The area where he is kneeling has a lot of loose rocks, both small and large. A flour bag with a tool on top of it is on top of the mound of stones. Another bag is on the ground to Sternberg's left.
