Description

This black and white photograph features an excavation site. Four people huddle in a circle around a skull. Wilda Walker is on the left and has a pickaxe. She uses it to dig around the skull. Anna Sternberg is at the top and is observing. George Sternberg is wearing a backpack and wields a smaller pick. He uses it to dig around the skull. Myrl Walker is at the bottom and is observing. They all wear field clothes and hats. Numbers are written below the photograph.
