Description

This black and white photograph presents three men in field clothes sitting on the ground at an expedition site. Elmer Riggs sits on the left and is looking at a specimen on George Sternberg's lap. Sternberg sits in the middle and holds a fossil. He has an excavation tool in his hand and is using it on the fossil. John Abbott sits on the right and is looking at the specimen on Sternberg's lap. They are surrounded by grass and a pile of wooden boards are on the right. Numbers are written below the photograph.
