Description

This page is from George Sternberg's personal photo album. These black-and-white photos were collected by paleontologist George Sternberg. The top and bottom left photos show Sternberg's scow being pulled by a motorboat. The top middle photo shows a man in a raincoat and matching hat at the wheel of the boat. The bottom middle photo shows a man in a coat and hat at the front of the same boat. The top right photo was taken from higher up and shows the motorboat at the riverbank, and the scow closer to the middle of the river. The bottom right photo is a view of the river and the land on each side. Each of the six photos has an inscription underneath written by Sternberg.
