Description

This black and white photograph features the cross-bedding stratification on the rock formations in the badlands in Red Deer, Canada. The cross-bedding in this photograph can be seen in the diagonal layers on the formations. The formations in this photograph are filled with contrasting colors. The front of the photo contains plenty of plant life, mostly shrub brushes. Handwriting is below the photograph.
