This black and white photograph features two taped together to show a panoramic view of the badlands near the Red Deer River in Alberta, Canada. The foreground is a flat rocky land that overlooks a valley that has many different outcroppings/rock formations. The river can be seen in the background at the base of the last row of rock formations in the upper center of the photo. Trees are on its banks. Handwriting is below the photograph.
