Description

This black and white photograph features a raft with a tent and other supplies by the bank on the Red Deer River in Alberta, Canada. Another raft is in front of the bigger one. Two men stand on the bank next to the rafts, and another man stands on the smaller raft. A fourth man is sitting in a boat full of supplies. There are mountains and trees across the river in the background, and brush is seen in the foreground. The crew included Barnum Brown, George Olsen, Peter C. Kaisen, and George F. Sternberg.
