Description
This black and white photograph features a portrait of Laura Stauffer - she is sitting in a chair sideways to the camera and is wearing a dark colored dress. Laura Stauffer ordered the photograph. Laura Elsie Stauffer was born Jan. 27, 1895, in Stafford Co., the daughter of John Wesley and Esther Margaret (Fitzgerald) Stauffer. She married Edgar Flynn on June 9, 1923, in Dodge City, Kansas. They had seven children: Stanley, Lois, Doris, Emmett, Opal, Billie and Bonnie. Laura died Oct. 27, 1985, in Yakima, Washington, and is buried at Fairview Park Cemetery in St. John, Kansas.
