Artist's Statement
Using different materials and textures such as tissue paper, foam, and clay, I replicated the different elements of a panini. This piece can be opened and flipped through like a book showcasing the different layers of the panini. Most layers consist of a printed image of the food with painted elements on top making the layers feel more full. Being that panini's are one of my favorite foods, I was much more thoughtful of what my dream panini would be.
