Artist's Statement
This series explores the grief that comes from coming to terms with the reality that the person you loved and lost isn't who they were anymore. In each of the three scenes, there is something missing from the male figure. He is either desaturated or rendered in a different style. This demonstrates how the memory of a person doesn't always line up with who they really are.
