This color photograph features the Harvey County Fair parade in Newton in 1961. Two young women are riding in a convertible driving south on Main Street. The sign on side of convertible reads: "Rita Winsky, Hankins Jewelry; Dorris Seymour, Gordon's." People are standing in front of some businesses in the background. Business signs in background read: Daniels, Ott's Bootery, Sears Roebuck and Co.
