This color photograph features the members of the Harvey County Historical Society on a float. They are riding in the bed of a large truck decorated for the U. S. Bi-Centennial parade in Newton in 1976. Dudley Dodgion, standing, is wearing a gray top hat. The sign on the side of truck reads: "Happy 200th Birthday America. HCHS."
