This color photograph features the Harvey County Fair parade in Newton in 1968. A miniature train and cars are on North Main Street. People are lining both sides of the street. Some of the businesses in the background are: RIGHT to LEFT: Midland National Bank - 527 N. Main, Wilson Drugs - 525 N. Main, Century Clothing - 523 N. Main, Johnny's Confectionery - 519 N. Main, Hankins Jewelry - 519 N. Main. Researcher's note: 519 is address given for both the confectionery and the jewelry store but they were not connected or related.
