Halstead. Approximately a dozen people surround a man identified as Mr. Weston who is in the center of the photo holding his hat in his hand. Photo is taken outdoors. Writing on front of photo reads: "E. S. Morton, Station Master, Halstead; Ed Bookwalter, Editor, Halstead Independent; Mr. Weston; W. H. (Bill) Hunt" Writing on back of photo reads: "Edward Payston Weston, elderly trans-Continental walker, thru Halstead about 1900 or so. E. D. Ruth, Photographer. Nov. 1963, Donated by Mabel Smith McMullen." Weston, Edward Payston;
