Description
This black and white photograph features Halstead in 1889. Two couples are posing on a dam on a river. There are no leaves on the trees and cattle are visible in the background. Writing on front of photo reads: "A Winter Scene." Smith is written on the dam. Writing on back of photo reads: Little Arkansas River, Halstead, 1889. Al Smith, Blanche Wright, (below), (Mrs. Al Smith after 1891). Guy Road, Bertha Road (above). Swartley Place E of Halstead, Cr. Branch of L A R. Donated Nov. 1963, from Mabel McMullen.
