Description

This black and white photograph features the Fred Harvey Laundry. "View of the Fred Harvey Laundry from the south across West Fourth Street, with an alley to the left in the picture. Baggage trucks with baskets of soiled laundry were unloaded through the small open door on the side of the building, sliding down a ramp to the basement. Finished laundry in baskets came out through the double doors on the south side of the building, slid down the ramp and was loaded onto baggage trucks and pulled to the depot manually. - J. M.
