Description

Sand Creek Freight Yard. 'View looking southwest from west of the bridge for freight main lines in the area where the water tank was located. Building to left: Replaced the yard office which was located west of the Ice Plant. The building is now used for a switch shanty, car inspector's office and for freight office records storage. Building to right: Location of present yard office. This building sits on the exact location of the old switch shanty. To the right is the east freight yard lead. - Mike Hurley."
