This color photograph features a woman is shown quilting in her house at Halstead in 1970.. She is Lucyle "Lucy" Jewett. Born 1899. Died 1999. She and her mother, Rachel Adella "Della" Jewett, were prolific quilters. She is wearing a blue dress and the quilt is blue and white.
