Description
A photograph of a watercolor painting by artist Mabel Vandiver, former chair of the Fort Hays State University Art Department. This painting shows a tall, slender gentleman in the middle of the night standing before an empty, small marketplace. The marketplace leads into a large city filled with skyscrapers that tower over the man and the rest of the city. In the very back of the city, the moon rises above the city as night falls.
