Description

A digital photograph of a black and white drawing created by Mabel Vandiver, the former chair of the Fort Hays State University Art Department. In the center of this drawing a rock monument in a field, and smaller rocks are spaced in a uniform manner in the background. These smaller rocks are surrounded by brush. In front and to the right of the monument stands a telephone pole that connects to other telephone poles in the distant background. Behind the monument is a stone post fence with grass blades that are about half as tall as the stone posts. On the left-hand side of the drawing an old dirt backroad is surrounded by trees on both sides.
